This navy blue silk kimono fabric has "Asanoha" (Hemp leaves) patterns stenciled on the fabric. Asanoha, hemp has strong vitality and grows vigorously on its own, thus this geometric pattern is often used as a talisman against evil in Japanese traditional garments. This is a "Ro" silk fabric, which is created by a combination of braiding/twisting threads and skipping rows resulting in producing a striped effect and a semi-sheer airy fabric. Each scrunchie is made to order so fabric placements may differ from photos. Each piece is one of a kind!
