This kimono whisks us away to warmer climates. The bright, bold, melon-colored blossoms with green-shaded leaves seem like they would be native to Hawaii or perhaps a garden in the Caribbean. Look closely to see that the florals were actually woven into the silk, after which an artisan brush-painted each one, shading by hand to create a watercolor effect.

Orange shading at the lining edges with flip gently as the wearer walks, meant to catch the eye of passers-by.
